Quick post, export tracking, and a smoother week

Posting used to mean: copy caption, open app, paste, attach image, repeat. Now it's one tap. Plus scheduler check-ins, per-network posting status, and two calendar views.

A Bested post created with the Alchemist

The Alchemist makes the content. But what happens after — getting it out the door, keeping track of what went where, knowing what's left — that's where the week gets messy. This update is about cleaning up that part.

Quick post: copy and open in one tap

Every post now has a "Copy & open" button for each network. Tap it and two things happen: the fitted caption (with hashtags, formatted for that specific platform) is copied to your clipboard, and the network opens in a new tab, ready for you to paste. No more switching back and forth between the Alchemist and five browser tabs to find the right version.

The image downloads the same way — one tap, full-resolution PNG, named descriptively so you can find it in your downloads folder without guessing which image(3).png is which.

Export tracking: did it go out?

After you mark a post as "Scheduled" in your external scheduler (Metricool, Later, Buffer, or wherever you manage your queue), the Alchemist tracks that. A few days later it checks in: "Did it go out?" If you confirm, the post moves to "Posted" status with a link to the live post. If it didn't, the Alchemist flags it so you don't lose track.

This matters because the number-one source of missed posts isn't bad content — it's forgetting to check whether the scheduler actually published it. A caption that sits in a "Scheduled" state for two weeks isn't scheduled; it's lost.

Posting status per network

A single post might go to Instagram, LinkedIn, and X — but not all at the same time. Maybe LinkedIn is scheduled for Monday and Instagram goes out Thursday. Maybe X is done and Facebook hasn't started. The posting status panel now shows every network separately: "Posted" with a link, "Scheduled" with a date, or "Not posted" — for all your accounts, every time, without hiding any platform.

The summary pill on each post card gives you the count at a glance: "Posted 2/4" means two networks are live and two are still waiting.

From the workshop

Posting status is separate from approval. A post can be "Approved" (content is good) but not yet posted anywhere. These are different questions and they track separately.

Calendar: month view and list view

The content calendar now has two views. Month view shows your posts on a grid — each day is a cell, each post is a chip with its status color. List view shows everything in chronological order with more detail: title, status, posting progress, and a thumbnail. Toggle between them at the top of the calendar.

Both views let you click into any post to edit, approve, or check its posting status. The list is better for working through a backlog; the month is better for spotting gaps in your schedule.

Posting completion: what "done" actually means

The Alchemist now knows which social accounts your brand actually has. If your brand posts to Instagram, X, and LinkedIn, then "Posted" means it went out on all three — not just one. The posting completion indicator reflects the real count, and it flags "partly posted" when some networks are done and others aren't, so nothing slips through.

Brand chips at the top of the calendar let you switch between brands quickly if you manage more than one, and the completion numbers update per brand.

Free preview with the real engine

The free preview on the homepage — the "Try it" section where visitors can see the Alchemist in action before signing up — now uses the same creative engine as the full product. Same model, same creative mission, same anti-patterns list. What a visitor sees in the preview is exactly the quality they'll get after signing up. No bait-and-switch, no dumbed-down demo.

Posts about a link

Paste a URL into the campaign prompt — a news article, a product page, your latest blog post — and the Alchemist reads it, extracts the key points, and writes a post about it. It doesn't just summarize; it pulls out what makes the link interesting and frames it for social. The source brief is saved so you can see exactly what the Alchemist read, and it never claims your brand wrote the original content.

The boring part, handled.
